Our Process

Our private wealth management service is simple. We help you achieve your goals through the following steps:

Discovery Meeting

Once you’ve contacted our office and spoken with one of our senior advisers, you’ll be invited to a Discovery Meeting. This is a great opportunity to get to know your financial adviser in a relaxed environment. We’ll identify what’s prompted you to talk to us and start to scope your areas of need.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore our expertise, our services, and our team. We’ll outline our fee schedule, as one of our key philosophies is to be open and upfront about pricing. The fee for the Discovery Meeting is $330 (inc. GST).

At the end of the Discovery Meeting, we’ll make a decision together on whether there’s value in you taking the next step and attending an in-depth Concept Meeting. There’s no additional fee for the Concept Meeting.

Concept Meeting

The Concept Meeting gives you a chance to explore your aims and objectives in more detail. Prior to the meeting, we’ll ask you to complete a copy of our Personal / Business Financial Profile, which will supply us with the information required to assess your circumstances and discuss strategy options.

We’ll also take your specific needs into consideration, such as providing education for children, moving towards retirement, establishing an investment strategy or securing your future after divorce.

During the Concept Meeting, we’ll conduct an initial assessment of the following areas:

  • Personal goals and objectives
  • Your risk profile
  • Current tax structure and planning
  • Cash flow and debt management
  • Current investments and superannuation
  • Insurance review
  • Legal issues, including estate planning.

At the conclusion of this discussion we should have a clear scope of the advice and assistance you require from our firm. Concept Meetings take approximately two hours.

Your personal financial plan

Now  your financial adviser and our team of internal experts will get to work designing, benchmarking and stress testing your personal plan. We’ll present our recommendations in detail, allowing you plenty of time to understand our advice. Once you’re comfortable with our proposed strategies, we’ll sign off on the plan and move to the implementation phase.

We pride ourselves on keeping clients involved, so you always know what to expect from our wealth management services.

Your proposal

At this stage we’ll be in a position to provide you with a clear proposal of our services. As a fee-for-service firm, we can quote you a fixed fee to develop, present and implement your personal financial plan. This means you’ll know what to expect when it comes to your financial adviser cost.
